If you need to make up anything (quiz, test, notebook check, etc) on Friday, May 24 from 7:30-8:30 A.M. is the last day to do this. After that, you will stay with your "Z" and it will not be changed before your final grade/graduation date. 

Also: your extra credit bathroom grades are already inputted. There is no more extra credit, so please do not ask me for it.

ANNOUNCEMENT (for those who have finished Reading Plus): 

You are to complete the following Reading Log (attached). This will be due every Friday before 3:30 p.m. If you are absent, you may e-mail it to me at nmontero@doralacademyprep.org.

BEFORE you do your Reading Log, you must choose a book and get that book approved by me. 

Starting next week (April 8th): If you don't complete the log you will get an Z for your Reading Plus Grade. This is still a quiz grade, so please make your summaries as best as possible.

    • Prudence - the quality of being prudent; cautiousness.

    • Vindication- the action of clearing someone of blame or suspicion.

    • Denunciation- public condemnation of someone or something; the action of informing against someone.

For today's class: Be sure to have finished reading the book and have discussion questions/debate points ready for the socratic seminar. The socratic seminar will be your first project grade of quarter 4 and it is based on HOW or WHAT you contribute to the discussion. 

POSTPONED: All Catcher in the Rye things (packet and annotations) will now be due on Friday, April 12 (A Day + 8th) and Monday, April 15 (B Day). You will also have your test on this day.

You will have all class time to write the essay and then you will submit it to the sub by the end of class.
