Mr. Justin Puppo
Mr. Justin Puppo is completing his 11th year as a Business Education/Computer Applications Teacher at Doral Academy. Mr. Puppo teaches Business Software Applications, Computer Applications in Business, Introduction to Technology, and Game Design.
Mr. Puppo is very active within the school community. He started Doral Academy's Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) chapter and is currently the club advisor for the school's Video Game Design Club (VGDC). The VGDC helps aspiring programmers and designers cultivate their skills for careers in game design and the video game industry. Mr. Puppo is also a virtual teacher within Academica's Online Learning program and is a member of Doral Academy's Literacy Team, which helps foster exceptional reading and writing throughout the school.
Mr. Puppo is the Head Tennis Coach for Doral Academy's Varsity and Middle School tennis teams and was a coach with the baseball program for three seasons. In addition to his role as an educator and coach, Mr. Puppo is also known as "The Voice of Doral" and can be found announcing many of the school's sporting events.
Mr. Puppo comes to Doral Academy from the business world where he worked as an investment advisor and business consultant for 10 years. He graduated from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce with a B.S. in Commerce and M.S. in Accounting and taught financial accounting while pursuing his Masters Degree at UVA. Mr. Puppo also attended Cornell University.
Mr. Puppo brings a positive attitude, a passion for learning, and a drive to succeed to Doral Academy.
