Mrs. Elayne Diaz
Mrs. Diaz graduated from the University of Miami in 2000 with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and Political Science. She immediately joined WSVN Channel 7 News in Miami where she worked her way up as the Broward Bureau News Chief. She researched and localized stories during the 9/11 attacks and was involved in the wall to wall coverage during the most active Atlantic hurricane season in recorded history in 2005. She also had the opportunity to travel to Denver, Colorado as a field producer for the 2008 Democratic National Convention where President Barack Obama was officially named as the Presidential nominee. This is Mrs. Diaz's 7th year teaching at Doral Academy Preparatory.
