Ms. Luisa Suarez
Luisa Suarez has been in the field of education for 29 years. After 13 years as a classroom teacher, Ms. Suarez became a counselor and made the transition to the high school. Her experience as a high school counselor has been truly rewarding because she has been able to work with students individually as their advocate and their mentor in the areas of academic achievement, personal/social development and career exploration. In the 2017-2018 school year she transitioned from her role as an Academic Counselor to that of College Advisor in the College Assistance Program (CAP). This position allows her to not only further Doral Academy's College-Bound Culture, but also the opportunity to collaborate with students, parents, academic counselors and teachers with a common goal of helping students achieve their individual post-secondary success.
