You may complete hours at any Miami Dade County Library, Museum, School or Park and Recreational Center. The list below is a list of suggestions where students can chose to complete their hours. Students can chose to complete their hours at another location as long as it is a NON-PROFIT organization.

If you would like to do community service hours at another location that is not listed or specified, please speak to a guidance counselor or an administrator for approval.

within the State of Florida login to http://search.sunbiz.org/Inquiry/CorporationSearch/ByName.
Type on the name of the organization, check to see whether it is Active, then
click on the name to go to the page for the organization; under “Detail By
Entity Name” it should say “Florida Not For Profit Corporation” then the name
of the organization.
