Ms. Mary Morcos
Ms. Morcos graduated Magma Cum Laude from New Jersey City University in 2000 with a double major in Secondary Education and a degree in English Literature. She has also obtained a Masters degree in Special Needs in 2003 from New Jersey City University. She has previously worked at William L. Dickinson in Jersey City where she successfully completed her teaching internship and was hired as a full-time faculty member in 2000. As a teacher at William L. Dickinson high school, she was able to build the Junior Varsity and Varsity cheer leading team, The Mediterranean movements, which is a well known belly dancing team and co-chaired the committee for Homecoming. Ms. Morcos moved to Florida in 2005, where for the past ten years, taught at Miami Norland Senior High school as an Advanced Placement, Honors and Cambridge educator. She has had the honor of heading both teaching committees and educational curriculum in her Literature field and serving as the head of the department for Advanced studies. In 2008 and in conjunction with her full time teaching position, Ms. Morcos became an active adjunct faculty member at Miami Dade College, department of education. She is currently a member of the Doral Academy family since 2016.
